About Green Door Academy

Green Door Academy provides online courses to help you thrive in a rapidly changing world. Our goal is to make emotional and practical skills for a better world accessible to everyone, regardless of location. Our academy was born from a shared belief that learning should be flexible, affordable, engaging, directly relevant to the real-world and - most importantly - it should help to make the world a better place for all.

Walking the talk

The Green Door Office is situated within our net zero home. Net zero means that the home and office do not contribute carbon emissions - a major cause of climate change. This is achieved by: solar panels that cover electricity needs, heat pump for water heating, rainwater tanks, a fully electric vehicle, onsite sewage and grey water management, recycling, food and fruit growing for the home, and active regeneration of the site through extensive habitat planting.
