Calm in the Chaos is a 6-week therapeutic journey for people who feel emotionally overwhelmed by the state of the world and want a more grounded, compassionate way through.

In a time of relentless uncertainty, many of us are carrying more than our nervous systems can comfortably hold. The result can be anxiety, emotional flooding, doom-scrolling, numbness, helplessness, exhaustion, and a deep sense of inner instability.

This course is designed to help you understand those responses with compassion — and gently build the tools, awareness, and inner steadiness needed to navigate them.

Across six weeks, you’ll learn therapeutic, nervous-system-informed practices to help you feel calmer, more emotionally regulated, and more able to stay connected to yourself in difficult times.

This is not about becoming less caring.
It’s about becoming more supported in your caring.

That line is very strong, by the way.

This course is for you if ...

This course is for you if…

  • the state of the world leaves you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally flooded
  • you care deeply, but struggle to stay grounded in the face of constant uncertainty
  • you’re tired of feeling caught between over-functioning, doom-scrolling, and emotional shutdown
  • you want therapeutic tools to help you feel calmer, steadier, and more emotionally resourced

Calm in the Chaos is designed to help you meet difficult times with more inner steadiness, self-trust, and care.

Walking the talk

The Green Door Office is situated within our net zero home. Net zero means that the home and office do not contribute carbon emissions - a major cause of climate change. This is achieved by: solar panels that cover electricity needs, heat pump for water heating, rainwater tanks, a fully electric vehicle, onsite sewage and grey water management, recycling, food and fruit growing for the home, and active regeneration of the site through extensive habitat planting.
